Hot bite and happy crew! Summer fishing in Oswego NY brought us clear conditions as we set out on the river for an evening of angling action. Anastasia and their crew joined me for a half-day float trip with Mississippi John's Guide Service. As the sun started its descent, we pushed off from 1830 Bridie Manor, ready to make the most of the prime evening hours on the water.

With our gear rigged and ready, we employed a mix of techniques to cover all our bases. We started off trolling, letting our lines trail behind as we drifted along some promising stretches. When we hit spots that looked particularly fishy, we'd switch it up with some bottom fishing, dropping our baits right where the fish might be holding. Drift fishing proved to be a great way to cover water and present our offerings naturally. While we didn't land any trophies this time out, the experience of being on the river and working different techniques kept us engaged throughout the trip. We wrapped up as the day faded, having enjoyed a great time on the water with plenty of casting practice and good company.

If you're looking to get out on the water in Oswego NY, I'd love to have you aboard for "The best experience" with Mississippi John's Guide Service. Our Oswego Fishing Half Day Float Trips are perfect for anglers of all skill levels who want to explore the river and improve their techniques. We provide all the gear you'll need, and I'm always happy to share local knowledge and tips to help you make the most of your time on the water. It's a great opportunity to learn new techniques or refine your existing skills while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Oswego. Whether you're a seasoned angler or new to the sport, our float trips offer a unique perspective on river fishing that you won't want to miss. So if you're ready to cast a line and create some fishing memories, give us a call and let's get you out on the water.
